DescriptionThe mitre plate featuring the double-headed eagle surmounted by the Tsar's crown and a banner with the motto "С нами бог" (God with us), in the centre an image of St. George slaying the dragon, the mitre plate made of brass, the gold-plating over-polished. Flat gilt chinscales attached to flaming grenade bosses on a white band, a third grenade on the reverse. The body of red fabric and with white flat braid. The black leather sweatband on the inside with old inventory label. Size ca. 58. No ponpon. Slight signs of wear and age, the body with small moth holes, but overall in good condition.
