A marching drum for the infantry of the Electorate of Brunswick-Lüneburg, 18th century

The drum with a patinated brass body. The coat of arms with the Welf stallion below the archducal coronet and the motto "Nec Aspera Terrent" on the front. The wooden rings painted blue and white, the skins and covering largely intact (a defect on the edge of the upper skin). The rings with several worm holes. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Height 43 cm, diameter 40 cm.
