Conical terracotta rhyton with black handle. The body of the vessel painted in marine style. Ornamental bands below the rim, including a row of double axes. Intact except for a minor defect below the lip. Provenance: From the collection of a South German classical philologist, acquired by him during the 1950s and 1960s. Remaining thereafter in the family estate.
