DescriptionSlender double-edged thrusting blade of flattened hexagonal section. The upper third with narrow fullers on both sides struck with barely legible signature. The ricasso with double fullers and mark (crayfish) struck on both sides. Fire-gilt iron knuckle-bow hilt of finely ridged bars. Grip with original wrap of finely gilt copper wire with slender Turks’ heads. Finely ridged oval pommel. Blade slightly pitted in parts, the gold-plating rubbed. Length 119 cm.
