The three-piece set comprising a helmet, shield and forearm guard. The skull of the helmet forged in one piece, embellished with fine geometric openwork and ornamental gold inlays, underlaid with silver foil. A stylised face on the front of the helmet, two plume sockets, screw-mounted horns and nasal bar. The riveted crown plate with a screw-mounted, quadrangular spike. A continuous band of calligraphic cartouches along the lower edge, remnants of the silver inlays. The attached chain mail made of closed iron and brass rings, placed end to end. The domed shield with a riveted flange, four screw-mounted shield bosses, the ornamentation matching that on the helmet. The convex forearm guard with en suite gold-inlaid and openworked decoration (the wrist protector is missing). Height of the helmet approx. 55 cm, diameter of the shield 46.8 cm, length of the arm guard 34 cm.
