Description

The skull of the close helmet forged in two pieces, the narrow comb with a turned and roped edge. Continuous lining rivets, the plume socket riveted at the nape. Two-part, pivoted visor, the separate eye holes with a prominent flange. Five slot-shaped breathing holes on the right-hand side of the visor, a hook closure on the side. The pivoted bevor with a hook closure and riveted collar of one lame. The gorget opening on a hinge, with two neck lames. The ridged breastplate sliding on three lames, with one fauld. The backplate with turned flanges and one riveted culet. Complete arm defences, the large pauldrons sliding on seven lames. The closed cannons with small couters. The gauntlets with metacarpi sliding on four lames and tapering cuffs. The finger scales are missing. The ten-lame cuisses can be taken apart in the middle, with poleyns sliding on two lames. Mounted on a mannequin torso with a cloth-covered base. Height 169 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
