Stiff body with white cotton cover sewn in several pieces, surrounding gold cord, on the forehead metal officer’s cockade, worn green cotton lining, ink stamp "K.A. 1913" (tr. Colonial Office) at the back of the neck, brown leather sweatband. Comes with a helmet covered in white with cloth cord in the national colours black, white and red, on the forehead metal officer’s cockade surmounted by the national eagle in brass (traces of gilding), dark green cloth lining and black leather sweatband. Cords replaced in modern times. Slightly damaged in places, traces of age. Rare.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
