DescriptionPair of ear pegs made of chased copper sheet. Ornamental discs surrounded by a pearl circle, behind them 6.5 cm long cylindrical pegs for insertion. On the front identical depictions of a person holding two objects in characteristic costume with crescent-shaped headdress. Surface covered with green oxides and minimal incrustations. Diameter 9.3 cm.
Provenance: From the estate of a North German lawyer. Acquired on the art market, in the family since the late 1960s.
