DescriptionThe finely carved ivory body of four-nail type, affixed to a crucifix by means of small iron nails with faceted heads, the edges of the cross veneered in burl wood, the back blackened. Mounted on a high pedestal, decorated with several ebonised cornices and veneered in burl wood. A paper label on the back, attributing the crucifix to Ferdinand IV. Height 77 cm.
