Cal. 10,6mm Dt.Ord., SN. ---, bright bore, barrel length 117 mm. Cylinder with six rounds. No markings, neither acceptance mark, factory mark or serial no. Manufactured presumably at rifle factory Erfurt. Original, bluish black highly polished finish partially thinner and with fine spots on barrel and cylinder, almost complete on grip. Hammer, trigger and base pin polished white. Smooth, oiled walnut grip panels. Lanyard loop.This very gun is illustrated and described in detail in: Müller, "Geschichte und Technik der europäischen Militärrevolver", vol. 1, p. 176 - 177 (also see colour chart in the middle of the book), and Harder, "Der Reichsrevolver und seine Varianten", pp. 120/121.
