Cal. 11 mm Französisch, SN. 12, matching numbers. Almost bright bore, the barrel with canon muzzle, octagonal to round, length 160 mm. Six shots, single action. Dovetailed front sight. Extractor rod attached under the barrel. Open frame. Barrel and cylinder blued, the grip polished, most likely the entire gun slightly reworked. Smooth walnut grips. Lanyard loop.Extremely rare revolver by Gauthier Jeune, of which most likely only 200 were made.
It is not a Thomas revolver as stated in the printed catalogue!Monomatricule. Canon rayé en très bon état, à pans puis rond, à bourrelet. Longeur 160 mm. 6 coups à percussion centrale, simple action. Cadre fermé et portière de chargement coulissant latéralement. Carcasse polie blanc, canon et barillet bleuis. Calotte losangique à anneau de suspension, plaquettes de crosse en noyer.
