Description
The bellied, wooden body flattened at the back, with rich inlays of engraved and blackened bone. Lions' heads amidst decorative tendrils at the sides, a large lion's head on the base. Blackened iron mounting, the conical spout with two spring catches, one spring is broken. Two bullet ducts at the back below a hinged lid with a secret fastening mechanism. Four iron carrying loops at the sides. Height 16 cm.A rare powder flask, part of a set for Saxon wheellock puffers.
