Slightly swamped, seven-groove rifled, octagonal barrel in 13 mm calibre with dovetailed iron front sight and adjustable rear sight. The signature "RAINER IN GRATZ" inlaid in silver at the breech, silver banding in front of the breech plug. The wheellock finely engraved with floral ornaments and hunting scenes, double set trigger. The walnut full stock with floral carving on the side opposite the lock and a horn nose. Openwork, inlaid brass furniture. An old brass plaque bearing the inventory number "No. 5" on the underside of the butt. The wooden ramrod and horn tip of later date. Length 122 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
