Description

The decorative certificate with black and red text and a coloured gold depiction of the badge of honour, issued in Berlin on 23 May 1944 with a blind embossed seal and the signature of Reichsleiter Baldur von Schirach in ink. Dimensions approx. 29.5 x 20.7 cm. The Golden Hitler Youth Badge of Honour with a border of oak leaves was awarded approx. 400 times to non-members or, before the special badge was instituted, to foreigners.
This certificate was presented by von Manteuffel personally to a French collector (see pencilled notes) in the 1960s.

General Information

The auction includes 904 lots and starts on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5904. The pre-sale view will take place from 19 - 22 May, 25, 29 and 31 May 2021. However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Prior to any visit please check our website - we'll up.
