DescriptionThe standard of dovetailed shape, in lemon-coloured silk with a silver fringe on three edges and the army eagle hand-embroidered in black on both sides, its plumage highlighted in brown, its beak and talons in braided gold embroidery in a field of cream-coloured silk, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath embroidered in silver, below which is the Iron Cross, with four swastikas appliquéd in the corners. Dimensions including heading approx. 52 x 86 cm. The colours still vibrant, traces of the fastening nails in the heading.
