Description

A porcelain figure entitled "The Burgunder", model 4 by the artist Richard Förster, in glazed white porcelain. The figure of a dancer in traditional Burgundian costume with a jerkin and headgear, his feet placed wide apart and his upper body bent forwards. This figure was only produced in 1942, with 770 models known to have been made. The body and hands wrought with meticulous attention to detail, the "SS Allach" mark stamped in the underside, height 22 cm, excellent condition, rare.
