Description

The second volume of "Mein Kampf", first edition 1927, published by Franz Eher Nachfolger GmbH, Munich, 354 pages, in the original slipcase. The pages clean and flawless. The coloured dust jacket shows considerable signs of age. For extra protection, the book has been covered in plastic film, fastened with small adhesive strips, which are probably easy to remove. A hand-written dedication from Adolf Hitler on the flyleaf (tr.): "To Ms Grete Bauderer - most sincerely presented by Adolf Hitler - Christmas 1926". Interestingly, one year earlier, Hitler addressed the recipient as "Margarethe", but writes "Grete" in this dedication, which indicates a more personal relationship between Hitler and Bauderer. In December 1926, Hitler gave this edition to specially selected recipients who were favourably disposed towards him. Includes the original, unprinted slipcase. Extremely rare.
