Description

Gold, silver, polychrome enamel (flaws). Movable crown clasp, on the front medallion the monogram "CF" with circumscription (tr.) "For the Honour of Baden". On the reverse the Baden griffon in relief with the aforementioned circumscription. Slightly damaged, traces of age. Width 25 mm, weight 8.5 g. The order was donated by Elector Carl Friedrich on 4 April 1807 and was awarded until 1918. Very rare, early production.

The auction includes 454 lots and starts on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 4001 - 4454. The pre-sale view will take place from 19 - 22 May, 25, 29 and 31 May 2021.
