Description
Thick-walled bowl with concave rim and bottom. The rim decorated with spider monkeys each holding a cocoa bean. The bottom decorated with a ray pattern. Due to heavy use, parts of the painting are worn. Fine hairline crack glued. A restored chip at the edge. Otherwise intact. Height 7 cm. Diameter 19.5 cm.Provenance: From a private collection in North Germany. Acquired before 1970.
