Description

Extremely rare bronze appliqué of a horse in profile. Hollow casting. The fine mane structure with clear signs of age-related wear. The lower part of the front leg broken in old times, the lower part of the hind leg minimally bent. Otherwise intact. Length 17.5 cm. Impressive naturalistic depiction of a running horse.

Provenance: South German private collection.
