Description

Leicht gegratetes, spitzovales Blatt, das in den durch zwei Doppelwülste gegliederten Schaft übergeht, der am unteren Ende leicht knaufartig verdickt ist. Schön patinierte Waffe von skulpturaler Eleganz. Länge 101 cm. Diese Waffe hatte ihren Ursprung auf Tonga, war aber später vor allem auf den Lau-Inseln von Fidschi ebenfalls sehr verbreitet.

Provenance: Bedeutende belgische Privatsammlung.
