Description
The broad head with a raised ridge and ridged beak, the entire head embellished down to the shaft with fine geometric carvings of decorative nubs and zigzag ornamentation, offset with raised borders. The slightly curved shaft with a small disc butt. The head with small cracks and a defect. Beautiful patina, exceptionally heavy wood. Length 104 cm.Provenance: Bedeutende belgische Privatsammlung.
