Description
Round barrels with offset midribs and smooth bores in 16 mm calibre. At the breeches pseudo signatures inlaid in silver amidst scrollwork, two struck pseudo marks on each pistol. Flintlocks with finely engraved tendrils, the lower edges of the lock plates engraved with pseudo signatures. Walnut full stocks with rich floral inlays of silver wire (minor flaws). The wooden butts embossed with later owner’s monogram "DT". Furniture of heavy silver lavishly decorated with blossoms and trophies in relief. The butt caps with Ottoman silver hallmarks on the sides. Fake ramrods with silver wire inlays. Length of each 54 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
