Description

Thin-walled drinking bowl, decorated with multiple intertwined braided bands and stylised faces. Below the rim a continuous band
of punched circles. In some places the punches were so strong that the plate was pierced. Silver plate hammered, punched and chased from the outside. Slightly knocked in places. Intact. Diameter 13 cm. Height 5.8 cm. Weight 94.2 g.


Provenance: From an old German private collection.
