Description

Bronze axehead of the Langquaid type. Length 18 cm. Weight 451 g. Plus a small axehead with semi-circular edge. Once inscribed "Neuchatel - Suisse". Length 9.4 cm. Weight 125 g. Intact with beautiful patina.

Provenance: Southern German private collection, acquired January 2009 in Paris. Previously old Swiss collection.
