A Greek bronze handle modeled as a panther skin, 5th - 4th century B.C.

Description

The lower part of the handle, which is attached to the edge of the vessel, has a panther head in the middle with the paws on the sides. The fur impressively chased. Above it two long-necked heads of birds facing away from each other, forming two eyelets. Beautiful dark green patina. Intact. Length 8 cm.
