Description

Two bronze handles probably of a hydria with a facetted horizontal handle. On each attachment a stylized bearded head of a Silenos. Very good condition with excellent patina. Width 13.5 cm. Height of the attachments 12 cm.

Provenance: From a West German private collection, acquired on the art market before 1980.
