Description

A tubular bronze macehead. The upper half is decorated with three fields separated by strips. Each field is decorated with a row of grains arranged in pairs. Beautiful green patina. Length 17 cm.

Provenance: Portuguese private collection, acquired 2002 on the British art market. Previously Axel Guttmann Collection.
