Description

Veneered oak with gilt bronze fittings, decorated in relief. Extended base with a wide, lockable drawer. The cabinet case with large, hinged doors, the top piece with two lockable drawers on the side. The exterior with fine geometric scrolling bands in walnut, rosewood and fruitwood, interspersed with fine thread inlays of ivory. The interior comprises twelve drawers arranged around a central, lockable compartment. Delicate marquetry décor with ivory, Makassar ebony, rosewood, ebony and fruitwood, the grip knobs made of turned ivory. The left side panel of the inner drawer can be moved to reveal a secret compartment with two small drawers. Mounted on a modern brass stand. Dimensions 85 x 85 x 46 cm, total height 162 cm.
