Description

The sturdy, single-edged blade somewhat stained and shortened, with fullers on both sides and a double-edged point, embellished with lavish, gilt etched tendrils, interlaced ribbons and flowers on both sides, including two medallions with the manufacturer's mark "Wilhelm Clauberg, Solingen". The sumptuous ivory grip (cracked) finely carved with three-dimensional hunting hounds falling upon a deer, a boar, a bear and a lion. No scabbard. Length 52 cm.
