DescriptionSturdy double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section. The upper quarter with flat fullers on both sides struck with protective characters "IHS" and "MARIA", respectively. The sturdy ricasso struck with mark "TH" on both sides. Iron swept hilt, the extended, S-shaped quillons with sturdy octagonal pommels. On the obverse large guard ring, finger guard on each side. Helically grooved grip with sturdy iron wire wrap and one preserved Turk’s head. Round decagonal pommel, slightly loose. Metal surfaces somewhat pitted in places. Length 121.5 cm.
