Description

Long, slender blade of flattened diamond section with several fine fullers on both sides. The base of the blade with flat thumb rest on one side. Extended, helically grooved quillons with blossom-shaped grip plates. Knuckle bow with fine openwork and sturdy flanges struck outwards. Depiction of a seated monkey, flanked by two huntsmen amidst tendril decoration. Iron grip with fine openwork, the pommel equally with openwork and minor flaw. Length 69 cm.
