Hachi formed of 62 plates, mumei, the plates studded with rows of ko hoshi, tehen kanemono closed with a chrysanthemum-like bronze disc, lateral holders for the wakidate. Lacquered mabezashi with dragon decoration, with severe craquelures and defects. Five-lame hineno shikoro in kizuke kozane with dark blue kebiki lacing, fukigaeshi with gold-lacquered kiri mon. The helmet lining torn and showing traces of use. The lacquer damaged on all parts, hachi subsequently painted over. The chinstrap worn. Height 32 cm.
Comes with an unassociated, damaged, modern maedate.

The auction includes 416 lots and starts on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 4001 - 4416. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET).
