Description

Haken suji kabuto formed of eight plates, lining missing, mabezashi somewhat bent, tehen kanamono replaced. Mempo in oyebo style with remnants of lacquer (replaced), with yodare kake of three lames. Used as a ceremonial armour at the end of the Edo period. Sabi nuri lacquer and blue sugake binding set off with green. Hishinui do with seven kusazuri of five lames in sugake binding, agemaki ring on the back. Damage to lacquer and silk. Light shinokote, haidate and suneate of leather lacquered in black on damaged cloth background.

The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET).
