DescriptionThe octagonal barrel turning to round with smooth bore in 15 mm calibre. Decorative tendrils engraved on the silver-plated lock, three red coral beads set on the upper edge of the lock plate. A movable lanyard loop on the side opposite the lock. The button trigger made of red coral. The wooden shaft entirely inlaid with lavish openwork mounting in gilt silver over a light silk covering. The butt partially covered in finely embroidered, dark green velvet (rubbed). Six barrel bands in gilt silver with relief decoration. Inset pseudo iron ramrod. Length 153.5 cm. An exceptionally high-value mounted rifle, presumably of courtly provenance, in good condition.
