The bronze candelabras forged in one piece with a heavy greenish-brown patina due to age, moulded iron prickets. Trefoil pedestals, the bases in the shape of recumbent sphinxes. These bearing fully sculptured figures of Venus, balancing the fluted drip pans on her head and supporting them with her right hand. Height of each 23 cm.

Questions about the lot?
The sphinxes incomplete at the back, one paw missing in each case. One candelabra with a small replacement on the base plate, the other with a crack between the wings of the sphinxes.
