This catalogue comprises some
2200 lots. The dispersion of a significant naval collection
of some 150 objects will prove especially attractive to the
enthusiasts for maritime antiquities. For example, the precise
and lovingly crafted votive ship model , The Great "Wappen
von Lübeck" (Euro 7,500).
The leading personalities of the Third Reich are represented
by some remarkable things, including a hunting dagger belonging
to Hermann Göring with a damascus blade and silver scabbard
(Euro 12,500) and his Grand Cross of the Iron Cross in gold
and onyx (Euro 28,000). The watercolour "München Karlstor"
(Karlstor in Munich) by Adolf Hitler was done around 1910
(Euro 8,000). Of incomparably greater historical significance,
however, is the fateful so-called "Nero Order" from
1945, in which Hitler ordered the destruction of Germany.
A short time before, Speer had handed Hitler a memo on Germany's
economic situation for March - April 1945, and a signed copy
of it is offered in this auction (Euro 5,000).
On May 1, 1944, the Volkswagen Factory was awarded the honourary
title "Exemplary National Socialist Operation', the corresponding
award certificate is offered at a starting price of 3,500
Euros.
The Allach Porcelain Factory produced a special gift vase
for Hitler's 50th birthday on 20 April 1939, (Euro 8,500).
The medals and decorations have a special place here, including
Field Marshal Sperrle's Spanish Cross in Gold with Diamonds
(Euro 12,500), a wound badge "20 July 1944" in Black
(Euro 15,000), and Generaloberst Deßloch's Combined Pilots/Observer's
Badge with Diamonds (Euro 17,500).
Of extraordinary rarity is the signals unit standard embroidered
on lemon-yellow silk fabric (Euro 15,000), and during the war,
a Luftwaffe Generalmajor (Brigadier) in the occupied Netherlands
had the white summer uniform offered here made to measure
(Euro 9,500).
The Hitler Youth Golden Honour Insignia with Oak Leaf Rim
comes from the possessions of the national councilor for the
BDM (League of German Girls), Trude Bürkner-Mohr along
with the corresponding award certificate (Euro 6,000).
