A French naval officer's dagger

1st quarter of the 19th century
Curved blade with a pandour point, etched with trophy and floral decoration. Tombak hilt à la Mameluke, lion's head pommel, chequered wooden grip. Length 41 cm. Brass scabbard with a clear anchor engraved between two banded suspension rings. Wood grip cracked and restored.
