A small-sword with silver-inlaid hilt

Northern Europe, circa 1700
Slender triangular (somewhat corroded) blade. Chiselled knuckle-bow hilt with (worn) silver inlays. A portrait bust amid ornamental decoration and martial trophies is depicted on one side of the double shell-guard, knuckle-bow, and pommel. Later iron grip cover. Length 101.5 cm.
